Izertis and IBM expand their collaboration in cloud technology
Our company, a specialist in digital transformation, and IBM have announced that they are expanding the partnership agreement between both companies in the field of cloud technologies and services. This includes the use of the artificial intelligence, analytics and data management capabilities available in the IBM Cloud. The alliance is based on the ability of both companies to provide differential value and innovation to companies.
The agreement, which has been signed by Javier Valencia, vice president of Technology at IBM Spain, and Pablo Martín, president of our firm, comes in a year in which, according to IDC Research studies, 20% of the global market will be allocated from new technology spending to cloud solutions that meet the specific requirements of the industry and the data exchange ecosystem for its vertical segment.
With the addition to its portfolio of IBM Cloud Satellite, a hybrid cloud solution in regulated environments, and IBM Cloud Pak for Data, a comprehensive solution for data governance, our company reinforces its commitment to innovative technologies and adds capacity to the IBM ecosystem. In addition, both companies will explore combining synergies in a complementary manner in areas in which both corporations are making significant efforts to be at the forefront of the market, such as quantum computing.
"For us, the ecosystem is fundamental because it is what allows us to bring our investment in innovation and new technologies to all companies, supporting the progress of the entire society," said Javier Valencia, vice president of Technology at IBM Spain.
For his part, the president of our company, Pablo Martín, wanted to highlight that “IBM offers us a complete suite on which to build solutions in booming areas that have already been consolidated for years, with the guarantee of having a solvent technology and a technical support that at the moment couldn’t be overcome by any other company in the market”.
Both companies have recently been protagonists of current technology after having launched the Confia project, along with Endesa, the pioneering initiative throughout Europe that protects people in situations of severe vulnerability and risk of energy exclusion through blockchain systems. The use of CONFIA is allowing town councils, marketers and autonomous communities to detect these vulnerable users in real time, receiving the necessary data to instantly verify whether it is a person who meets the criteria to benefit from the Social Bonus.
