Vibration and Mechanical Shock Monitoring Using Flexible Piezoelectric Sensors

As everybody knows, vibrations and mechanical shocks can affect a number of things not in a good way. It is very easy to sense these vibrations and mechanical shocks using a piezoelectric sensor. This kind of sensor generates usually a voltage, which can be measured and monitored. In the paper entitled “Vibration and mechanical shock monitoring using flexible piezoelectric”, prepared by “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi in the context of 4DPrinten project, a system of data acquisition, processing and transmission was developed based on the Arduino Mega 2560 development board together with the Arduino programming environment.
