Hardening of Blockchain systems: securitisation of Blockchain as a Service (BaaSS). The main objective of this project is to research the technologies to be implemented to guarantee information security in Blockchain networks and thus overcome the current limitation, since at present there are only security guidelines or best practices to follow when configuring this type of network. In addition, a tool will be developed to apply the outcomes of this research.

Challenges
Carry out a functional analysis to identify the types of attacks/challenges affecting Blockchain systems
Research the technologies to be implemented to guarantee information security in Blockchain networks and thus overcome the current limitation, since currently there are only security-related guidelines that are more in the nature of recommendations to be followed during the configuration of such a network
Solution
The solution will be to develop a prototype that can monitor distributed Blockchain networks to ensure they are operating correctly or, if not, to flag any potential attack, threat or identified vulnerability.
Furthermore, the prototype will also need to enable the execution of cybersecurity tests to validate the specific consistency of the Blockchain.
