IZERTIS takes part in the SecureWorld project
The Data Economy is characterised by providing an ecosystem in which market players can extract value and propose new business models, operating on the vast amounts of data and metadata generated through digital interactions.
The aim of the SecureWorld project — Technologies for secure digital relationships in a hyperconnected world — is to offer an environment where such interactions can take place safely, ensuring that the collection, processing and exploitation of data are carried out under conditions of security, trust and confidentiality.
SecureWorld seeks to address the challenges faced by Spanish companies operating within a data-driven economy, in the context of ongoing digital transformation and existing regulatory requirements. To this end, SecureWorld conducts research into cybersecurity, privacy and data governance technologies, safeguarding the privacy and security of all agents within the data value chain, including end users.
Five leading companies in the Information and Communications Technology sector — Nokia, Ibermática, ITS Security, Izertis and Optiva Media — have joined forces with public research organisations, Tecnalia and the University of Valladolid, to tackle the challenge of creating an ecosystem that enables the development of a wide range of digital relationships within a secure framework, both now and in the future.
This project is co-funded by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) under the CIEN strategic programme (project reference: CIEN-20200001).
