KAIROS is a pilot innovation initiative, scheduled for completion in 2025, aimed at researching cutting‑edge technologies to develop an efficient manufacturing solution for large composite parts for the naval sector, with a high level of automation, quality, and cost optimisation.

This initiative, led by CT Ingenieros, involves the participation of SOFITEC, CRAMIX, SP Consultores y Servicios, Segula Technologies, Global Vacuum Presses, and IZERTIS. The technological centres Gaiker, CATEC, ITCL, Air Institute, and the University of Cádiz also take part as subcontracted partners.

The project is co‑funded by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) under the CIEN strategic programme (project reference: CIEN‑20210008).
