Izertis obtains ISO 22301 certification by AENOR and strengthens its continuity, security and trust model
Izertis has obtained ISO 22301 certification, the international benchmark for Business Continuity Management Systems, awarded by AENOR. This accreditation strengthens the technology consultancy’s ability to anticipate, respond to, and recover from disruptive situations that could affect its operations or the services it provides to clients.
It also consolidates its position as a secure, reliable, and resilient technology partner, ready to support public and private organisations on projects where continuity, security, and trust are essential. Izertis becomes the second Asturian company certified to this standard by AENOR, which now has a total of 104 certifications nationwide.
The growing technological dependence of organisations has positioned business continuity as an essential element for building trust among clients and other stakeholders. In this context, the certification attests to the implementation and effectiveness of a Business Continuity Management System based on the identification of critical activities, impact analysis, risk management, and the definition of continuity strategies and plans aimed at minimising the consequences of potential disruptions, maintaining critical services, and enabling effective recovery in adverse scenarios.

ISO 22301 is integrated into Izertis’ existing management system and complements a set of key certifications in the areas of security, privacy, quality, service management, resilience, and responsible innovation.
These include ISO 27001 for Information Security, the Spanish National Security Scheme (ENS) at High Level, TISAX AL2, ISO 27701 for Information Privacy, ISO 20000-1 for IT Service Management, ISO 9001 for Quality Management, and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management.
Also, part of this ecosystem is ISO/IEC 42001, a certification through which Izertis became the first technology consultancy to certify its Artificial Intelligence Management System with AENOR. This recognition validates a governance framework for the development, deployment, and responsible use of AI solutions, strengthening traceability, security, and trust in a technology that is increasingly embedded in digital transformation processes.
Integrated management model
With the addition of ISO 22301, Izertis takes a further step in consolidating an integrated management model in which business continuity is closely aligned with information protection, privacy, service quality, cybersecurity, and the responsible governance of artificial intelligence.
This certification provides an additional guarantee for clients, partners, and other stakeholders: Izertis has robust mechanisms in place to uphold its operational, legal, and contractual commitments even in unforeseen circumstances. Resilience therefore moves beyond a statement of intent to become a certified capability.
