Izertis and Xygeni join forces to improve security control in the software development cycle

Izertis has reached a collaboration agreement with Xygeni, a company specialising in application security and software supply chain control, with the aim of reinforcing security throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from the early stages to its deployment in production.

The initiative is part of Izertis' vision of cybersecurity, which places software protection as a central element in reducing risks and strengthening the resilience of organisations.

In this approach, security is integrated from the design and definition of architectures, and maintained during development, release, maintenance and safe retirement of products.

The goal of the agreement is to ensure continued protection

With this collaboration, Izertis incorporates Xygeni's capabilities in application security (AppSec) and SDLC governance to its offering, with a special focus on one of the risk vectors with the highest exposure in recent years: the software supply chain.

The aim is to have continuous protection to identify anomalies in processes and equipment, as well as to reduce defects and possible impacts on developments.

The implementation of Xygeni is complemented by specialised Izertis services aimed at improving security in development and operating environments, such as architecture analysis, regulatory alignment, bastioning or pentesting.

Izertis enhances its capabilities to secure the software lifecycle

In this way, it aims to provide organisations with a framework that facilitates the incorporation of security controls in a consistent and verifiable manner, without being limited to one-off reviews.

In the words of Jerónimo García, Director of Cybersecurity at Izertis, "together with Xygeni, Izertis enhances its capabilities to secure the software lifecycle and protect our clients' digital supply chain, minimising defects, reducing impacts, and identifying anomalies in processes and work teams".

For his part, Xygeni’s CEO, Jesús Martín, points out that “the collaboration with Izertis strengthens a shared vision of the importance of integrating security throughout the entire application lifecycle. The combination of their expertise in consultancy and cybersecurity with our AppSec capabilities enables organisations to adopt a more comprehensive and effective approach to today’s challenges.”
