IZERTIS participates in the AETHERIA project
The objective of the AETHERIA project - Digital Identity and Intelligent Analytics Platform for Sectoral Data Spaces - is to provide a platform that allows any citizen to transform their medical data—regardless of the format, physical or digital—into HL7 FHIR, store it in a secure digital wallet, and share it in a verifiable and private manner with hospitals or research centers.
AETHERIA presents an innovative solution that solves several of the current challenges in clinical data management and sharing, such as data fragmentation, interoperability, and citizen control and ownership in accordance with European regulations (EHDS, GDPR, Data Act).
These challenges will be solved by AETHERIA by providing a technological solution that will enable the transformation of heterogeneous clinical data into a standard and interoperable format (HL7 FHIR) using advanced AI techniques; its secure storage thanks to the use of Verifiable Credentials and Digital Wallets aligned with eIDAS2 and European digital identity initiatives, which will allow patients to have full control over their health data as promoted by the latest European guidelines; its sharing with hospitals, research centers and Health Data Spaces through integration with connectors; and finally, incorporating advanced artificial intelligence for the intelligent analysis of clinical data in HL7, facilitating medical decision-making.
This set of tools and services will reach the end user (citizens, medical centers, research centers) in the form of web services (applications) with a Human Centric Design approach.
