Our consultancy firm has been chosen by the energy marketer TotalEnergies to improve the organic search engine positioning of its website in order to strengthen its brand recognition project and, therefore, increase sales.
The challenges faced in tackling this project included, on the one hand, strong competition in the online procurement of this type of supply and, on the other hand, a new brand for users in the energy sector with no previous organic positioning.

The solution provided by our firm has increased the organic traffic of the business group by 50% in the first half of 2022 compared to the second half of 2021, in addition to increasing conversions. The main achievement has been to place TotalEnergies among the top 6 energy trading companies in Spain for conversion-focused search intent.
To this end, our technology company designed a strategy that aims to improve the visibility of the brand and the business in the organic channel, in addition to attracting quality traffic in order to boost conversions.
The strategy is composed of a set of actions such as assisting the B2B and B2C marketing and customer service teams in studying the competitive situation of TotalEnergies.
A keyword study was also carried out to understand users' intentions and detect search behaviour in order to plan and generate content that responds to consumers' interests. Finally, dashboards were created to show the evolution of the project based on the data collected.
TotalEnergies is a company that sells energy (electricity, natural gas) and other services regarding home maintenance, such as checking boilers or incidents, as well as installing car charging points and solar self-consumption systems in homes and businesses, which entered the Spanish market in March 2017.
