Izertis renews its "Cybersecurity Made in Europe" label issued by the European Cybersecurity Organisation (ECSO)
Our firm has renewed its "Cybersecurity Made in Europe" label developed by ECSO through the Basque Cybersecurity Industries Association (Cybasque), an entity authorized to issue it. This label recognizes us as a leading company in the cybersecurity sector and supports the excellence in the services we provide to our customers.
The European Cybersecurity Organisation (ECSO) is a non-profit organization whose goal is to coordinate the development of the European cybersecurity ecosystem and support the protection of the European digital single market, as well as contribute to the advancement of European digital sovereignty and strategic autonomy.
Offering a differentiating value in the market based on geographical location, raising awareness about the strategic value of European-origin companies in terms of cybersecurity and increasing the visibility of such companies among potential business partners, end-users and cybersecurity investors, are some of the objectives represented by the label.
Nowadays, talking about security is talking about business
"Organizations like ECSO are able to enhance cybersecurity but also the European ecosystem of service providers and the excellence with which they provide them, always bearing in mind that, nowadays, talking about security is talking about business. Having passed the criteria to maintain the label supports the correctness of our commitment to continuous improvement, to providing reference services in the cybersecurity sector from Europe and to being true partners of our customers for the security and continuity of their business", has highlighted Manuel Estévez, our Lead of Cybersecurity.
Obtaining this label, interested companies must meet a series of requirements, such as being a legally based entity in Europe, carrying out their activities mainly on the continent, including research and development, and that their solutions meet the minimum security requirements established by ENISA ("Essential security requirements for safe ICT products and services"), among others.
