Smart Fund Santander

Banco Santander's Smart Fund supports Izertis' growth strategy with 10 million euros

Our company has signed a framework agreement with Banco Santander, through which it adds a new financing alternative of up to 10 million euros for 2021 (5 million) and 2022 (5 million). This is the Santander Smart Fund, intended exclusively to accompany initiatives with growth potential, sustainable, innovative and digital, which promote the generation of employment in all its phases of development.

The financing alternative may be made effective in different loans, for the amounts that are requested at any time. This is in addition to the recent capital increase of 3.8 million euros, and the issuance of convertible bonds by the asset management firm Inveready with which another 4 million were obtained, both just a few weeks ago.

The agreement between Banco Santander and our firm is part of the Smart Growth Line of the Smart Fund, endowed with 1,000 million euros and aimed at companies and SMEs with a turnover of between 3 and 100 million, which also present a high increase in their Ebitda. It is precisely in this context where our company has been recognized at different levels, such as the 'Company of the Year' award given by the European Union, classifying it as the firm with the highest performance and stability of the 36 expanding trading markets of Europe. Similarly, the Financial Times included it among the 1000 fastest growing companies on the continent in 2021.

“This is another demonstration of confidence from the market and financial players in the robustness of our firm's growth plan. It is a great satisfaction for us that Santander has trusted us with this line designed exclusively to accompany consolidated projects with high expansion potential”, has said Lourdes Arguelles, our Director of Administration and Finance.

Short and medium term objectives

This new resource will be destined to promote the development of our organization through inorganic means. In recent years, the acquisition of high added value companies has contributed to expanding the capacity of the different areas of our firm, incorporating new specialties with anticipation of high growth rates, according to macro market studies.

So far this year, our company has integrated 3Aside, Data Adviser, Globe Testing, and the portuguese Rebis Consulting, with whom, in addition to expanding its offering, it has managed to open the market with new clients in sectors such as banking, energy, retail or telecommunications.
