Izertis participates in the conference on Artificial Intelligence applied to condition monitoring from the university and industrial perspectives
Last Tuesday, December 11, Jose Barranquero, Head of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence of Izertis, participated in the conference on "Artificial Intelligence applied to condition monitoring from the university and industrial perspectives” at the Gijón Polytechnic School of Engineering, where he spoke about monitoring and analysis of power generation plants in real time.
This day was part of a cycle of conferences organized by the University of Oviedo on December 10 and 11 in order to bring closer the university and industrial perspectives.
The participation of Izertis was highlighted by the attendees, for the pragmatic approach presented, differentiating itself mainly by being an industrial data analysis project that has seen the light in production and that has proven to be of great value to the client. An example of reference architecture that sheds light on similar projects that usually do not go beyond the laboratory phase.
The event ended with a round table composed of experts who talked about automatic learning without data (reinforcement learning) and on how to improve the relationship between the university and the industry to promote collaboration between both.
