On March 26 Izertis, by the hand of our Responsible for Digital Transformation & Industry 4.0, Miguel Ángel Acero, took charge of coordinating the dynamization of the first co-creation workshop dedicated to the food and beverage sector, organized by AMETIC and by Food 4 Life platform.

The objective of this work session, in which leading companies in the sector participated, such as Azucarera, Supracafe, Dulcesol or Aldelís was to jointly address new industrial challenges focused on process automation, energy efficiency and production optimization to achieve innovative solutions through the execution of Design Thinking dynamics.

As a result of the collaboration of the different work teams, made up of technological suppliers, industrial clients, ecosystem agents and technological centres, four innovative projects have been defined, focused on the development of new products, the creation of new business models and training for the employee, besides achieving the optimization of diverse productive processes, using different enabling technologies.

The workshop, held at the headquarters of ABB, was a great opportunity for the different professionals to exchange experiences and knowledge, as well as to promote technological innovation within the industrial sector.
