Spanish Association of Consulting Firms Izertis

Izertis joins the Asociación Española de Empresas de Consultoría

The technology consultancy firm Izertis has joined the Spanish Association of Consultancy Firms (AEC). With it, the Association now includes 27 firms, among which are the leading consulting and information technology (IT) companies in Spain.

Izertis thus joins the most representative organisation of the consultancy sector, a key sector for increasing competitiveness and moving towards a digital economy. Technology consultancy brings together 265,000 professionals, and exceeded 91,000 new hires in 2022.

"With the incorporation of Izertis, the Association reinforces its role as a benchmark in the technology consultancy sector, which is leading the digital transformation of companies and institutions, and which is essential to face the challenges of a changing scenario such as the current one", highlights Elena Salgado, president of the AEC.

In this line, the multinational listed on the BME Growth, which has recently exceeded 200 million in capitalisation, stands out among the main Spanish technology players, being a benchmark in fields such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity and software engineering.

Its scope of action also covers the largest Spanish companies, including IBEX 35 firms, as well as the main national and European public administrations. As a result, it has achieved sustained growth, growing 10-fold in size over the last 10 years, an achievement that has led it to be ranked as one of the 1000 fastest growing firms in Europe, and awarded by the European Commission as 'Company of the Year' in 2020 for its "performance and stability" in the markets that make up the common economic framework.

The Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Investor Relations & Corporate Development of Izertis, Julio López, emphasised that "this is a very important milestone for our group, since thanks to it we join a select group of companies, all of them benchmarks in their specialities. It also recognises the effort we have been making in recent years, which is giving us greater visibility on projects and management capacity.
