Izertis acquires Autentia in the biggest deal in its history

The listed on the BME Growth technology firm Izertis has completed its largest acquisition to date with the purchase of Autentia, a Madrid-based company specialising in strategic technology services and software development. With this movement, Izertis adds experts dedicated to accelerating growth in key business lines and operations, such as enterprise architectures, cloud services, and integration and deployment of innovative technologies for large companies.

This operation will bring 120 people into the group, spread across teams oriented to building high-quality software and environments with XP practices, support for enterprise architectures, cloud services, and microservices, among others.

Autentia's team is well-known for its presence in communities in this segment and its expertise in agile methodologies. It will also bring a portfolio of remarkable clients in sectors such as airlines, banking, energy, logistics and retail.

This operation is a declaration of intentions for the market at all levels

According to Izertis President and CEO, Pablo Martín, "this operation is a declaration of intentions for the market at all levels. Thanks to it, we are adding a highly skilled technical team to our project, which, together with their large-volume client portfolio, will enable us to penetrate more quickly into sectors that are key to our business development".

"With this addition, we increase the strength of our structure to meet the growing demand of the market, while focusing on areas that represent a very relevant part of corporations' technological investments today and in the future", has explained Martín.

Pending the consolidated closing of the year, Autentia is expected to end 2022 with revenues of €9.97 million. "The merger with Izertis will bring great synergies, increasing our ability to grow while expanding the specialized services offering on which we have already been working", has highlighted Roberto Canales, CEO of the company.

The addition comes during a period of growth for the consultancy, which aims to reach €125 million in turnover in 2023 and a normalized EBITDA of €12.5 million in its 2020-2023 Strategic Plan. With this new acquisition, Izertis continues its strategy of complementing its organic growth with inorganic growth operations.
