We are looking for a Data Reporting & Visualisation Expert for one of our clients in Brussels.



You will support the internal clients and realize several different data reporting’s and visualization projects by:

  • Understanding and identifying, together with the stakeholders, their reporting and visualization needs,
  • Capturing the requirements and translating them firstly into a prototype and secondly into a full Tableau dashboard,
  • Presenting the full Tableau Dashboards to our stakeholders and get their feedback for later updates
  • Developing, updating, optimizing, publishing & decommissioning (= full life-cycle) reports/dashboards in accordance with the data & reporting governance guidelines,
  • Striving for the most optimal solution for the development and automation of reports/dashboards,
  • Collaborating with our Data Engineers in order to create adequate and sustainable data solutions for Tableau dashboards
  • Setting-up, advocating and implementing reporting and visualization best practices, in accordance with the guidelines and standards defined
  • Being the guardian & ambassador of this governance put in place.

Although the Data Visualization Specialist can temporarily be in charge of light data preparation work whilst designing his reporting’s and visualizations, he will collaborate closely with the Data Engineers for the delivery of the solid, industrialized and governed final data structures, guaranteeing traceability, consistency and monitoring.

Tech skills:

  • You have at least a Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, mathematics or engineering (a PhD is considered as an advantage). Candidates with other academic backgrounds with substantial knowledge of analytics are also encouraged to apply).
  • Experience in dashboarding & reporting (Tableau)
  • Experience with SQL (writing and understanding queries, …)
  • Knowledge of BI systems
  • Knowledge in BI Data Modelling techniques
  • Knowledge of functioning of ETL tool (SAS Programming / SAS EGP) and DBMS Systems (Oracle / Sybase)


  • Languages: English; French or Dutch
  • Telework expectation: 50% on site and 50% homeworking
