IT Functional Analyst - Brussels

One of our clients is looking for an IT Functional Analyst, to work in Brussels (Belgium).

Responsibilities:

The Functional Analyst:

• Clearly identifies the problems that the business is experiencing and/or the business requirements and maps out possible solutions that can be developed and integrated in the enterprise production environment. 
• Investigates costs and benefits.
• Designs the chosen solution in detail, defining exactly what it should look like, which data are involved, and which processes are supported.
• You will be involved in the enhancement & maintenance of a target application.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English + French and/or Dutch.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Open to a hybrid work model: minimum of 50% on site and the remaining time homeworking.
• Prior experience in a Java environment as a Functional Analyst, Technical Analyst, Developer or Tester.
• Prior exposure to APIs and webservices.
• Functional and technical knowledge of existing IT systems.
• Knowledge of analysis methodology (according to enterprise standards).
• Being able to understand and challenge business logic and requirements.
• Team player.
• Analytical, accurate.
• Communicative, creative.
• Agile mindset..

Preferable / nice to have:

• Knowledge / experience with Python.
• General credits knowledge.
• Knowledge on mortgage loans.
