Urban mobility project based on the Bike Sharing model.
The project
Tucycle wanted to bet on an innovative Bike-Sharing model which would compensate the negative aspects of the current bicycle-sharing platforms, which tend to flood the streets and pavements with bikes, obstructing the pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Also, in existing services, bicycles use to be very old and heavy, which made mobility even more difficult.

Facilitate payment and geolocation through App.
The solution
The development of the first platform for sharing bicycles with geolocated stations was approached. This platform makes available for the user, through an App, a transport model accessible anytime, practical and which respects the environment.
Through the geolocation, the App offers an efficient system of management and control of the number of bicycles available in each station. In addition, we have developed a technology that allows you to rent, unlock, geolocate and manage the entire rental service of bicycles.
The result
This innovative and pioneering Bike-Sharing system was a complete success for both the citizens and to the Municipality of Gijón. On the one hand we can highlight the social benefit, since a service based on sustainable and intelligent urban mobility has been created that improves the transport times and provides flexibility to residents and tourists alike.
