El proyecto KIBOT: Investigación sobre el rendimiento de una plantación de kiwis mediante tecnologías 4.0 tiene como principal objetivo investigar nuevas variables relacionadas con el desarrollo vegetativo de la planta del kiwi que permitan estimar el rendimiento de una plantación de kiwis de forma rápida, fiable y con coste reducido, meses antes de que aparezca el fruto, de cara a tener margen suficiente para llevar a cabo acciones que permitan aumentarlo si no es el esperado, e identificar posibles plagas o enfermedades que puedan afectar a la planta antes de que se produzcan daños irreversibles.
