Izertis achieves standardisation from the CTTI

Izertis achieves standardisation from the CTTI and will bid for the Generalitat’s 247-million euro calling

Our company has achieved approval from the CTTI (Telecommunications and Information Technologies Centre) Board of Directors to access the different tenders that the Generalitat (Government of Catalonia) will hold to construct and develop new digital applications.

The total sum of all these contracts will exceed 247 million euros and will take place over a three-year period, with the option of renewal of one more. Within the tender, various framework agreements have been grouped into “batches”, to cover the technological needs of all the departments within the Government of Catalonia. From all these, Izertis has been assigned with Digital Administration and Tailor-made solutions, to which it will allocate 50% of the entire budget.

In turn, the remaining bids will be distributed between geographical and geospatial computing systems, content management and work environment solutions, data and artificial intelligence, governing tools and cyber-security, business solutions, as well as technologies for learning.

With this, our company strengthens its position within benchmark consultancies in Catalonia, with the possibility of accessing the contracts of one of the largest users. Thanks to this, the range broadens to include implementing telecommunication systems, hardware, IoT systems, Business Intelligence, blockchain or Hyper-automations, in which we have far-reaching experience and expertise.

The allocation comes following 4 years of work by our multinational in Catalonia, where a software factory has been installed, maintaining two major production centres in Barcelona and Reus, and attaining important contracts with energy and industrial brands.

“Launching this kind of call is a key step towards evolving and optimising the services offered by the Catalonia administrations. This way, it will be possible to improve a host of processes and infrastructures, and this will always have positive repercussions on the day to day of workers and users of the administration”, explains Joan Ramón Guillén, our Business Development manager in the region, following notification of the list of companies approved by the CTTI.
